Job Summary
Provide clinical consultation, intervention, and therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Develop assessment, intervention, and monitoring strategies while coordinating training for staff on caseloads. Supervise Behavioral Treatment Specialists and manage program fiscal resources. Respond to emergency evaluation and intervention referrals as requested and rotate on-call services. This salaried position involves 20 hours in Fall River and 20 hours covering the region with travel. Requires a Ph.D. or BCBA, extensive experience with severe behavior problems, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D in psychology or related field OR a BCBA
- extensive knowledge in learning and behavior change
- minimum of 3 years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals exhibiting severe behavior problems
- minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Sensitivity to clients and the ability to treat them with dignity and respect
- valid driver's license
- access to an operational and insured vehicle
- willing to use vehicle to transport clients
