Job Summary
Provide behavioral consultation, intervention, and therapy to individuals, families, and programs referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Develop assessment, intervention, and monitoring strategies while coordinating staff training on caseloads. Supervise Behavioral Treatment Specialists and manage program fiscal resources. Respond to emergency evaluation and intervention referrals, including on-call rotation duties. Requires a Ph.D. or BCBA with three years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals exhibiting severe behavior problems, plus two years of supervisory experience. Valid driver's license and access to an operational vehicle are mandatory for client transport.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D in psychology or related field OR a BCBA
- extensive knowledge in learning and behavior change
- minimum of 3 years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals exhibiting severe behavior problems
- minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Sensitivity to clients and the ability to treat them with dignity and respect
- valid driver's license
- access to an operational and insured vehicle
- willing to use vehicle to transport clients
