Job Summary
Design and oversee individualized treatment plans for children by conducting comprehensive assessments, including Functional Behavior Analysis and skill-based competency evaluations. Provide direct instruction to clients, staff, and treatment teams while implementing evidence-based ABA interventions and monitoring progress through data collection and analysis. Supervise Behavior Technician ABA staff on assigned caseloads, ensuring ethical treatment delivery and modifying plans based on effectiveness evaluations. Coordinate clinical information with external professionals and agencies, maintaining all required documentation and reports in accordance with state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Behavior Specialist License in PA
- Certification from the BACB as a BCaBA
- Minimum one-year full-time experience providing ABA services
- Minimum of 12 credits in ABA from an accredited university
- Minimum one-year full-time experience providing ABA with direct supervision under a BCBA
- Minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA
- Have a valid Psychologist License in PA
- Ability to work in a team and complete assigned tasks
- Analytical/problem-solving skills
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and administrative abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics
- Knowledge of and the ability to comply with the State Mental Health Code
- Proficient knowledge of IBHS governing regulation requirements
- Ability to carry out appropriate restraints to prevent clients from harming themselves or others
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times with or without assistance
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
