Behavioral Assistant (Somerset County)

Job Summary
Provide in-home and community-based behavioral support to youth and caregivers, implement treatment plans under the direction of a supervising therapist, utilize evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement, assist parents/guardians with treatment plan implementation, collect and report progression, submit weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours, assist with caregiver and staff training, recognize and intervene in crises, participate in required trainings, and maintain compliance with agency policies; requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology/social work or related field and 2–4 years of behavioral healthcare experience, NJ CSOC certification within 6 months, a valid NJ driver’s license, and ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; bilingual candidates (Spanish) encouraged to apply; role located in Bridgewater, NJ with in-person duties under Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
