Job Summary
Behavioral Assistant supports youth and caregivers in home and community settings under supervision, implementing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, collecting and reporting progress, and assisting with caregiver/staff training. The role requires completing NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, 2–4 years of behavioral healthcare experience, a valid NJ driver’s license, and passing background checks and a drug screen. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. This is a full-time position with benefits in Ocean County, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, preferably working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities or mental illness
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
