Behavioral Assistant (Middlesex County)

Behavioral Assistant provides in-home and community-based behavioral support to youth and caregivers, implements treatment plans, and delivers services under the supervision of a licensed therapist. Responsibilities include using evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement, assisting with treatment plan implementation, collecting and reporting progress (including graphs when required), submitting accurate weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours, assisting with caregiver/staff training, recognizing and intervening in crisis situations, participating in required training, and ensuring compliance with agency policies. Must complete NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire and hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, with 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. A valid New Jersey Driver’s License is required, along with passing state and federal background checks and a pre-employment drug screen. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (H-1B sponsorship not available).
