Job Summary
Provide home and community-based behavioral support to youth and caregivers; implement treatment plans under a supervising therapist; deliver services using evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement; assist parents/guardians with treatment plan implementation; collect, track, and report progression or regression (including graphs when required); submit accurate weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision; assist with caregiver/staff training under supervision; recognize, prevent, and intervene in crisis situations; participate in required training and maintain compliance with agency policies; requires strong active listening, communication, and organizational skills; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, preferably with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities or mental illness
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (cannot sponsor H-1B)
