Behavioral Assistant (Camden County)

Job Summary
Provide home and community-based behavioral support to youth and caregivers; implement treatment plans; deliver services under the supervision of a therapist; use evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement; assist parents/guardians with treatment plan implementation; collect and report progress (including graphs when required); submit accurate weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision; assist with caregiver/staff training under the guidance of a supervising therapist; recognize, prevent, and intervene in crisis situations; participate in required training and maintain compliance with agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, preferably working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities or mental illness
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
