Job Summary
Behavioral Assistant position in Burlington County location performing home- and community-based support under supervision. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement, assisting with caregiver/staff training, collecting and reporting progress, submitting weekly progress notes within 24 hours, crisis intervention, and ensuring compliance with agency policies. Requires completing NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Social Work or related field, 2–4 years in behavioral healthcare with youth, a valid NJ driver’s license, ability to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Bilingual (Spanish) encouraged. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits (PTO, sick time, health coverage, 401K, ongoing training).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification to be completed within 6 months of hire
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare (preferably with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities or mental illness)
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
