Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments, record reviews, and collateral interviews to identify behavioral functions. Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Treatment Plans in compliance with CMH, MDHHS, and Medicaid standards, then present them to review committees. Provide ongoing monitoring of behavior plans through data review, progress tracking, and site visits to residential settings to assess implementation fidelity. Modify plans based on data trends and offer real-time coaching to direct care staff. Deliver training on de-escalation strategies and consult on high-risk cases involving aggression or elopement. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record to ensure audit and licensing compliance. Participate in Person-Centered Planning meetings and contribute to policy development. Requires a Michigan-licensed BCBA with a Master's degree and experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Salary ranges from $85,743 to $97,443. Irregular hours and personal vehicle travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed/Certified in the State of Michigan as a BCBA
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities or co-occurring disorders
  • Experience writing and implementing Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Treatment Plans
  • Credentialed and qualified to provide services within this discipline
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
  • Must be able to stretch/reach
  • Must be able to expose to blood borne pathogens and infectious disease
  • Must have hand/finger dexterity
  • Must be able to talk in person
  • Must be able to talk on the telephone
  • Must have hearing in person
  • Must have hearing on the telephone
  • Must have vision for close work
  • Must be able to stoop (bend at waist)
  • Must be able to occasionally be exposed to hazardous material

  • Must be able to travel by personal vehicle if an agency vehicle is not available
