Job Summary
Ensure the safety and emotional needs of residents while providing supervision and individual attention. Communicate and support care philosophy, complete documentation for care plans, and encourage residents to meet their goals. Maintain cleanliness, participate in resident activities, assist with transportation, and complete mandatory training. Certification in CPR, 1st Aid, physical restraint methods, and medication administration is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Certification in physical restraint method
- Certification in CPR and 1st Aid
- Certification to administer medications
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher preferred
- Experience working with adolescents
- Two years of direct care experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
