Job Summary
Support students with special needs in K-12 school settings by implementing IEP and BIP, providing one-on-one instructional support, and applying ABA methodologies to help students reach behavioral and learning goals. Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT or CPI intervention techniques, monitor and supervise students during class, breaks, meals, and transportation, record daily data on behavior and progress, and communicate student progress with teachers and supervisors. Requires high school diploma or GED, experience in school/treatment settings, background clearance, and strong communication and reliability; BA degree may be preferred for BA III level. Location: Placerville, CA; Full-time, school-hours schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with students in school or treatment settings
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable per state
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in related field (required for BA III level)
