Job Summary
The Behavioral Aide is responsible for ensuring the safety and emotional needs of residents are met while providing individualized attention. Responsibilities include documenting care plans, assisting with emergency safety interventions, and maintaining cleanliness and meal preparation in the cottage. The role requires teamwork with the Cottage Leader and Assistant Leader and demands alertness during all shifts, especially during the 3rd shift when resident activity is reduced.
