Behavior Therapist / RBT Trainer

Job Summary
Provide effective ABA training to newly hired and existing (Registered) Behavior Technicians to uphold ABC’s mission to deliver high quality early intensive behavior intervention for children with autism. Train and coach RBTs using ABC’s curriculum, observe and give feedback during an 8-day initial training period, and support ongoing post-training development at ABC centers. Report to the VP of Clinical Training and Program Manager of Clinical Training; collaborate on ongoing R/BT training with the training team; role excludes caseloads and focuses on trainer duties within the center-based program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- External applicants: Must have at least 3-4 years of experience in ABA, working directly with children with autism in either a Behavior Technician position or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Recommendation letter from BCBA
- Excellent verbal and written communication required
- Must have reliable transportation
