Behavior Therapist / RBT Trainer

Provide effective ABA training to newly hired and existing (Registered) Behavior Technicians to uphold ABC’s mission to deliver high quality early intensive behavior intervention for children with autism. Report to the VP of Clinical Training and Program Manager of Clinical Training. Demonstrate fluency with explaining and demonstrating ABA concepts and training activities. Provide coaching, modeling, and demonstration of specific strategies and/or activities as outlined in the ABC training curriculum. 8-day initial training-center schedule. Ongoing post-training and support at assigned center, as needed. Observe, monitor and give feedback on skills covered in the first 8 days. Trainers must prepare new therapists to achieve competency of applicable skills outlined in the BACB Initial Competency within the 8-day on-site training period. Collaborate with the VP of Training to plan and provide ongoing, individual or small group, R/BT training and support at various ABC centers as needed. Trainers will work exclusively with our training team and will no longer work with a designated caseload. Other duties as assigned.
