Job Summary
Provide direct ABA therapy to learners with autism spectrum disorder in a center-based setting, under supervision. Implement individualized ABA treatment plans, teach communication, social, daily living, play, and adaptive skills using evidence-based ABA strategies (reinforcement, prompting, shaping, behavior reduction). Collect accurate session data, maintain documentation, monitor progress, and report observations to supervising BCBA. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members; participate in staff trainings and adhere to HIPAA, safety protocols, and ethical standards. Prepare therapy materials and support transitions and group activities while maintaining a safe, structured therapeutic environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, Education, Human Services, or related field preferred
- Willingness to obtain an RBT certification if you are hired as a level 3 BT
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to follow clinical direction and implement feedback
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, squat and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
Desired Qualifications
