Job Summary
Provide direct one-on-one and group ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a center-based setting under supervision. Implement individualized ABA treatment plans, teach communication, social, daily living, play, and adaptive skills, and utilize evidence-based ABA teaching strategies including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and behavior reduction techniques. Collect accurate session data, complete required documentation, monitor learner progress, and report observations to the supervising BCBA. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to support learner goals; participate in staff trainings and ensure a safe, structured therapeutic environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Willingness to obtain an RBT certification if hired as level 3 BT
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to follow clinical direction and implement feedback
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Education, Human Services, or related field
