Job Summary
The Behavior Therapist role involves providing direct 1:1 and group therapy to children and adults affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Candidates must demonstrate a passion for mental health services and professionalism with clients. The position includes full and part-time opportunities, with training provided on the job. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a DHS background check. Full expenses are covered for obtaining RBT certification, and various growth and training opportunities are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Desire & passion for providing mental health services
- Ability to work in a group setting or 1:1 with client(s)
- Ability to maintain a level of professionalism with clients and their families
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a DHS Background check
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with ASD and ABA Therapy
- Holds a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields
- Has at least 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services
- Is a graduate student in one of the mental health professional disciplines
- Holds a masters or other graduate degree in one of the mental health professional disciplines
