Job Summary
Behavior Technician needed to work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Training provided; no prior experience required. Must be comfortable with physical activity: standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds. End-of-day impact on a child and family is emphasized. Equal opportunity employer. Location: Tualatin, Oregon (in-person role). Pay range $19-$24/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Tuberculosis test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Team-oriented collaboration
