Job Summary
Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision; implement individualized behavior intervention plans; use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Requires patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team; comprehensive training provided. Physically active role with lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to move through varied positions; located in Forest Grove, Oregon. Pay ranges from $19-$20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.) and lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- 18+ years of age
