Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors through one-on-one interaction. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Tuberculosis certifications. Complete pre-employment background checks and adhere to structured career path development.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
