Behavior Technician, Willing to train

Job Summary
Implement one-on-one behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts for children on the autism spectrum in a center-based setting. Collect data to monitor treatment progress and report findings while supporting BCBA with family training on individualized plans. Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other parties while physically keeping pace with clients, which includes standing, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, and running. Be responsive to client and family needs while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Comprehensive training is provided for those with a passion for working with children.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children
- Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs
- Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
- A passion and love for working with children
- Ability to work in an everchanging, fast paced environment
- Have a strong, reliable work ethic
