Job Summary
Implement one-on-one behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts for children on the autism spectrum in a center-based setting. Collect data to monitor treatment progress and report outcomes while supporting BCBA with family training on individualized plans. Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other parties while physically keeping pace with clients during sessions requiring standing, lifting, and movement. Be responsive to client and family needs in an everchanging, fast-paced environment. Work Monday through Friday from 3PM to 7PM with potential for part-time or full-time guaranteed hours. Paid training is provided to execute treatment plans confidently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong, reliable work ethic
- Ability to work in an everchanging, fast paced environment
- A passion and love for working with children
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
- Must be available Monday - Friday (all five week days) 3PM-7pm
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children
- Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs
- Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
