The Behavior Technician implements individualized behavior and treatment plans with consistency in various settings, teaching life skills and communication skills to clients. This role requires proficiency in evidence-based techniques, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. The position demands flexible hours, including potential early mornings or late nights, and requires traveling across multiple sites. Skills in time management, relationship building, and independent work are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues
- Must have a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals
- Experience working independently with individuals in a home/school setting
