Job Summary
Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder using play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, and social-emotional development. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress while maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Get up and down off the floor often and move quickly to assist with daily living tasks. Shifts are available Monday through Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm, 9:00am-6:00pm, 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm. We offer a $20.00-$25.00 hourly rate with a bonus for bilingual candidates and paid RBT certification training. No prior experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training and teach transferable skills for a career in behavioral health at ABS Kids.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software
- Must have one of these availabilities, Monday – Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm
