Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and support clients with autism spectrum disorder using Applied Behavior Analysis. Responsibilities include collecting and recording data on client behavior and progress, maintaining a safe and respectful environment, and helping children develop essential life skills through ABA techniques. Travel to client homes in Escondido, CA for services; on-the-job training for RBT certification is provided with paid certification, and there is potential for bilingual premium pay when sessions require Spanish. Part-time shifts are available, with varied afternoon-time options and benefits such as 401(k) matching, PTO, and mileage reimbursement. Fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. 6+ months of experience with children or individuals with special needs is required or the applicant can be trained for the role.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs
- Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Paid RBT Certification - No experience necessary, we will help you get trained on the job
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software
- On-site at client homes in Escondido, CA
- Part-time shifts available
- Ability to make a difference in the life of a child and contribute to ABA therapy responsibilities
