Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism, using play and ABA techniques to teach real-life skills. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress; support development of essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social-emotional development. Roles range from entry-level to seasoned RBTs, with on-the-job training for RBT certification and a bonus opportunity. Part-time shifts available (mon-fri 8:00-5:00, 9:00-6:00, 12:00-7:00, or 3:00-7:00). Salary $18.50-$23.00 per hour, with paid certification, mileage reimbursement, 401(k) with match, PTO, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Prior experience with children or adults with special needs is valued, but no experience is required to start learning and grow within the role.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Experience or interest in ABA therapy and autism spectrum disorder
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training for RBT certification
- Ability to collect and record data on client behavior and progress
- Ability to provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
- Comfort working in a part-time shift environment with flexible hours
- Strong communication and teamwork with families and staff
