Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism, leveraging play and ABA techniques to teach real-life skills. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, maintain a safe and respectful environment, and support development of life skills (motor, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills). Roles include traveling to client homes for sessions, with part-time, variable shifts; bilingual candidates may receive premium pay. Training on the job with paid RBT certification, plus benefits such as 401(k) matching, PTO, mileage reimbursement, and career-development opportunities. Must have 6+ months of related experience; fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred; reliable transportation essential.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience working with children (or adults with special needs)
- Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Ability to collect and record data on client behavior and progress
- Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
- Move up and down off floor frequently and move quickly
- Willingness to learn ABA therapy and complete on-the-job training
