Job Summary
Behavior Technician / RBT position offering part-time shifts with potential bonus opportunities. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one ABA-based support to children with autism, collecting and recording data on client behavior and progress, using play and patience to teach real-life skills, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. Requires assisting with life skills development (motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills) and adapting to varied schedules. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates receive premium pay; certifications supported on the job with paid RBT certification and a clear career path with bonuses and promotions. Prior experience with children or adults with special needs is valued, along with reliable transportation and comfort using data-collection software. Strong communication in English and Spanish is preferred. Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
- Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Ability to collect and record data on client behavior and progress
- Ability to provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to move up and down off floor and assist with activities
- On-the-job training for RBT certification available
- Willingness to participate in paid RBT certification program
- Ability to implement ABA therapy and behavior support plans
- Commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
