Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA-based support to children with autism spectrum disorder, using play and structured activities to teach real-life skills. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, maintain a safe and respectful environment, and help develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social-emotional skills. Must be available part-time with options like 8:00am-5:00pm, 9:00am-6pm, 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm; prior experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred; reliable transportation required for client-home visits; tech savviness to learn data collection software; training supported on the job with potential certification (RBT) paid by the company.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Comfort with ABA therapy techniques and data collection
