Job Summary
Implement one-on-one behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts for children on the autism spectrum in a center-based setting. Collect data to monitor treatment progress and report findings, while supporting BCBA with family training on individualized treatment plans. Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other parties, and physically keep pace with clients ranging from 2 to 15 years old. This role requires standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling to match client movement during sessions. Any additional tasks outlined by the BCBA or LBA are also included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children
- Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs
- Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
