Job Summary
Behavior Technician role providing 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and neurodevelopmental differences. Implement evidence-based positive behavior strategies designed with a BCBA, document session data to support treatment goals, and collaborate with families and supervisors. Includes a 4-week in-person orientation with BCAT exam review, paid training, and growth opportunities toward BCBA roles, with part-time schedules and potential Saturday hours. Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; reimbursement for drive time and mileage in select areas; and a commitment to crisis protocols and mandated reporting. Opportunities for professional development through in-person and online trainings and to advance along clinical ladders within Cortica.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
- Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days of start date
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (within a 30–40 minute drive radius)
- Experience working with children (autism a plus)
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
