Job Summary
Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism at their homes or the Learning Center. Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills while accurately recording progress in the Central Reach data collection system. Relay client progress to BCBAs for assessments and assist with clinical evaluations. Clock in, submit session notes, and clock out to align with strict ABA and insurance regulations. Manage client needs during lunch and bathroom breaks, including diaper changing, while maintaining a safe, organized workplace. Voice questions, issues, and concerns to supervisors and build positive relationships with families while upholding professional boundaries.
Required Qualifications
- Consistent availability from Monday through Friday
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work with computers
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients (if residing in San Diego, AZ, or VA)
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- RBT/ CBT certification
- Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run
- Bachelor's degree

- Voices questions, issues and concerns to supervisors
- Builds positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries
