Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy that helps children with autism learn, grow, and gain independence by using play to build communication, confidence, and independence. Track progress and follow personalized treatment plans while collaborating with a supportive team aligned with WEAP's values. Create positive, lasting change for children and families. This role requires at least 18 years of age, U.S. work authorization, and a high school diploma. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain continuous visual supervision of clients. Paid training is provided with no prior experience necessary. Competitive hourly pay starts at $16. WEAP is part of LEARN Behavioral, a network of ABA providers committed to nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move quickly in response to client needs
- Ability to frequently change physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally running
- Ability to maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients
