Job Summary

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism, using play to build communication, confidence, and independence while tracking progress and following personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with a supportive team to create positive, lasting change for children and families. Maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to ensure a safe environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical movements. This role offers paid training in ABA therapy, ongoing support from a collaborative team, and promotion opportunities in as little as 3 months. AST is part of LEARN Behavioral, a network of ABA providers committed to nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs nationwide.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Some College (At least 1 college course completed, dual enrollment with a college while in high school or trade school program completed)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move quickly in response to client needs
  • Ability to frequently change physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally running
  • Ability to maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients
