Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism, using play to build communication, confidence, and independence. Track progress and follow personalized treatment plans while collaborating with a supportive team. Create positive, lasting change for children and families. This role requires the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds and maintain continuous visual supervision of clients. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., and complete some college coursework. AST is part of LEARN Behavioral, a network of ABA providers committed to nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Some College (At least 1 college course completed, dual enrollment with a college while in high school or trade school program completed)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move quickly in response to client needs
- Ability to frequently change physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally running
- Ability to maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients
