Job Summary
Behavior Technician needed to support an 8-year-old boy with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and anxiety in in-home pediatric therapy sessions.Responsibilities include using positive reinforcement and praise-based strategies, supporting emotional well-being and learning differences, creating engaging opportunities in reading, math, and writing, and providing a nurturing, supportive presence. Training and mentorship from a BCBA and a certified elementary/special education teacher will be provided; materials and suggested topics are supplied. Ideal for practicum students in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or ABA; flexible 15-25 hours/week with an in-home or mutually agreed location in the Dearborn area. Competitive hourly pay to be discussed.
