Job Summary
As a Behavior Technician at Acorn Health, deliver 1:1 ABA treatment to clients under supervision of BCBA, collect data, and monitor progress to inform treatment decisions; work with children on the autism spectrum in home, school, or other locations, with duties that include driving between clients and coordinating with families and supervisors; requires completing training to provide therapy, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and Florida Level II background screening; bachelor's degree in psychology/teaching or related field preferred; competitive hourly rate starting at $19.50/hour with benefits for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working with children highly preferred
- Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for helping others
