Job Summary
Behavior Technician role delivering 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision across center/home/school settings. Responsibilities include completing training, implementing evidence-based ABA interventions, collecting data, updating client records, coordinating with families and supervisors, and driving between client locations as needed. Requirements include 1-2 years’ experience with children, preferred Bachelor’s degree in psychology/related field, valid driver’s license, background check, strong communication and organizational skills; benefits include PTO, holidays, health insurance, retirement plan, RBT training, and professional development. Florida Level II background screening is a required aspect of the role, with supervision and growth opportunities within Acorn Health.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working with children highly preferred (caregiver, paraprofessional, daycare, etc!)
- Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passion for helping others
