Job Summary
Behavior Health Technician II provides clinical support to adults and children in residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community-based behavioral health programs. Responsibilities include establishing a positive helping relationship, assisting individuals with activities of daily living and accessing resources, ensuring health, safety, and well-being, implementing interventions per each person’s treatment plan, and monitoring/documenting progress. Must have a high school diploma or GED; CPR and CPI training; valid driver’s license; ability to work across programs; and pass background screenings. Base pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.12 per hour, with shift differential of $2.00 to $4.00 per hour where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year experience preferred in behavioral health
- CPR certification
- CPI training
- valid driver’s license
- background screenings as appropriate
