Job Summary
Behavior Health Technician II Relief provides clinical support to adults and children in behavioral health services across residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community-based programs. Responsibilities include establishing a positive helping relationship with individuals, assisting with activities of daily living and accessing resources, ensuring health, safety, and well-being, implementing interventions per the person’s treatment or service plan, and monitoring the person’s progress.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One (1) year of experience in behavioral health preferred
- CPR certification must be obtainable
- CPI training must be obtained
- Ability to provide integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services as required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with other behavioral health programs as needed
- Must pass organization screening requirements including state or federal background screenings
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record and be insurable under corporate policy
