Job Summary

Behavior Health Technician II Relief provides clinical support to adults and children in behavioral health services across residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community-based programs. Responsibilities include establishing a positive helping relationship with individuals, assisting with activities of daily living and accessing resources, ensuring health, safety, and well-being, implementing interventions per the person’s treatment or service plan, and monitoring the person’s progress.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year of experience in behavioral health preferred
  • CPR certification must be obtainable
  • CPI training must be obtained
  • Ability to provide integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services as required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with other behavioral health programs as needed
  • Must pass organization screening requirements including state or federal background screenings
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record and be insurable under corporate policy
