Job Summary
Implement intervention strategies using direct therapy, monitoring, and consultation under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Teach targeted behaviors with specialized techniques including reward systems, incidental teaching, and pivotal response training while collecting and tracking data from sessions. Reinforce positive behavior with children in 1:1 and group settings, assist with parent training, and facilitate transitions among agencies. Communicate effectively with administrators, parents, and community members regarding client progress and goals. Identify emergency situations to ensure child safety and perform other duties as assigned. Requires flexibility of hours and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited university
- one year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
- An associate's degree (60 college credits)
- a minimum of two years of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
