Job Summary

Behavior Technician position (home-based in Massachusetts) provides clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis for children with Autism and related developmental disabilities across home, community, clinic, and school settings. Responsibilities include planning and implementing direct therapy, teaching targeted behaviors with techniques such as incidental teaching and pivotal response training, collecting and analyzing data, reinforcing positive behaviors, coordinating with parents and caregivers, documenting goals and progress, and facilitating transitions between agencies. The role requires collaboration with a BCBA, strong organizational and communication skills, reliability, and flexibility to meet productivity and scheduling needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field OR Associate’s degree (60 college credits) in a related field
  • 1 year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs OR 2 years of direct relevant experience
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification is a plus
  • Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner
