Job Summary
Behavior Technician position (Contract) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis for children with Autism and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include planning and implementing direct therapy, teaching targeted behaviors using techniques such as incidental teaching and pivotal response training, data collection and monitoring, parent/caregiver training, and collaboration with BCBA supervision. Roles involve 1:1 and small-group client care across home, community, clinic, and school settings, ensuring safety, documenting goals, communicating with families and professionals, and supporting transitions between programs. Additional duties emphasize reliability, teamwork, and professional conduct within a supportive, client-centered environment. Preferred qualification includes Registered Behavior Technician certification.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university OR an associate’s degree (60 college credits) AND a minimum of two years of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.
