Job Summary

Behavior Technician role providing ABA-based behavior intervention and data collection for children with autism and related developmental disabilities in home, community, clinic, and school settings under BCBA supervision. Responsibilities include planning and implementing intervention strategies, teaching targeted behaviors, recording and tracking data, reinforcing positive behavior, communicating with parents and professionals, documenting goals and objectives, facilitating transitions between agencies, ensuring child safety, providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, following prescribed protocols, and assisting with parent training. Requires effective communication, reliability, teamwork, and adaptability; minimum education and experience requirements as listed. Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university AND one year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs OR An associate’s degree (60 college credits) AND a minimum of two years of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.
  • Strong organization and communication skills are required.
  • Registered Behavior technician certification is a plus.
