Job Summary
Behavior Technician at home-based locations in MA responsible for implementing ABA-based intervention plans, data collection, and caregiver training under BCBA supervision. Conduct direct therapy 1:1 and in groups, use reinforcement and incidental teaching, track progress, document goals and objectives, coordinate with parents, administrators, and professionals, facilitate transitions between services, ensure child safety, and maintain professional conduct in a fast-paced environment. Requires ability to communicate effectively, manage data, and follow prescribed protocols for skill acquisition and behavior reduction; flexibility with hours and independent work capability.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university AND one year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs OR an associate’s degree (60 college credits) AND a minimum of two years of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs. Strong organization and communication skills are required. Registered Behavior technician certification is a plus.
