Job Summary
Implement intervention strategies using direct therapy, monitoring, and consultation under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Teach targeted behaviors with children with Autism and related developmental disabilities using specialized techniques like incidental teaching and pivotal response training. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior while reinforcing positive behavior and assisting with parent training. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, facilitate transitions among agencies, and identify emergency situations to ensure child safety. Communicate effectively with administrators, parents, and community members regarding progress and goals. Requires flexibility of hours and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited university
- one year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
- An associate's degree (60 college credits)
