Job Summary
Conduct clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols for children with Autism and developmental disabilities in home, community, clinic, and school settings. Teach targeted behaviors using specialized techniques such as reward systems, incidental teaching, and pivotal response training while collecting and tracking data from sessions. Reinforce positive behavior, assist with parent training, and communicate progress to administrators and caregivers. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, ensuring child safety during emergency situations. Facilitate transitions among agencies and programs as service provision changes.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age and older
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited university
- One year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
- Associate's degree (60 college credits)
- Minimum of two years of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
