Job Summary

Conduct daily behavioral services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by implementing support and medication plans. Observe and document behaviors, provide hands-on guidance and training to direct care staff, and maintain records within Therap for ISP updates, medication changes, and meetings. Collect data for Functional Behavior Assessments and collaborate with the Behavioral Intervention Specialist to ensure plans meet state requirements. This full-time role in Geneva, NY includes evening and weekend shifts with flexibility required to meet agency needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Bachelor Degree preferred in human services or related field, with minimum of two years' experience utilizing behavior support plans or direct mental health care/plan implementation; an Associates' Degree with an acceptable combination of education and experience, or six years' experience working directly with ID/DD or mental health is required
  • Flexibility in schedule required to meet agency needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree preferred in human services or related field, with minimum of two years' experience utilizing behavior support plans or direct mental health care/plan implementation; an Associates' Degree with an acceptable combination of education and experience, or six years' experience working directly with ID/DD or mental health is required
  • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel is preferred
