Job Summary

Direct 1:1 or small group ABA therapy for children ages 2-21 in center, home, and community environments under Clinical Supervisor direction. Implement skill acquisition programs, behavior management protocols, and treatment plans across communication, social behavior, and self-care domains. Collect data on target behaviors and maintain accurate records on an online platform while ensuring HIPAA confidentiality. Calmly respond to challenging behaviors per client intervention plans and assist with assessments like VBMAPP and ABLLS. Uphold safety standards, including toilet training and diaper changing if required, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Reliable transportation is required for travel to and from work and between therapy environments
  • Must be able to lift, pull, push, and/or move 10-25 pounds
  • Must be able to lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to move quickly, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, twist, walk, sit, stand and reach for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to respond quickly, which may include transitioning from a seated position to standing in case of client elopement or emergency
  • Must be able to assess and navigate factors that may impact safety and security
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or enrolled in psychology, communication disorders, education or related field preferred
  • High interest and willingness to learn about, understand and work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Eagerness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis and grow as a Behavior Technician
  • Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies, preferred
  • Ability to communicate proactively, timely, effectively and professionally with a variety of stakeholder types (clients, parents, Operations Team members, Behavior Analysts, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists)
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines and produce high quality deliverables with attention to details
  • Ability to exude professionalism through communication, timeliness and preparedness
  • Proficiency in applications, games and web-based technology via an iPad and Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel and Outlook
